Kigezi Education Fund: update 2018 By Muniini K. Mulera KigyeziAugust 10, 20180 Back to Home The Kigezi Education Fund (KEF) is the flagship program of the International Community of Banyakigezi (ICOB). A key instrument for implementing ICOB’s mission, KEF supports vocational and technical training of young Banyakigyezi, especially graduates of primary and secondary schools, to enhance their employability in the region and to offer investors in Kigyezi a readily available pool of well-trained artisans. Since its inception at the formal launch of ICOB in July 2004, KEF has financed the establishment of 4 (four) centres of excellence for Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) in Rukungiri, Kisoro and Kabale Districts, and an electrical and plumbing program in Kanungu District. With your support, KEF will support the establishment of ICT centres of excellence in Rubanda and Rukiga, the remaining two districts in Kigyezi Region.
