ICOB-Uganda Chapter Convention in Kisoro will be a perfect ending to the year

I am very excited about this year’s Convention of ICOB-Uganda Chapter which will take place in Kisoro on December 27-29, 2017. Dr. Francis Mwesigye Runumi, the chairman of ICOB Uganda, and his team have put together a service-oriented program for us that includes tree planting in partnership with GO GREEN, cleaning Kisoro Town in partnership with community members, and fundraising for a maternal-child health project in Kisoro District.

There will also be great entertainment, including a soccer match, traditional music and dance, and a modern music dance at the fundraising dinner. The program also includes a walk from Kisoro Town to Mugahinga, one of the great volcanic mountains in the region.

A visit to Kisoro is always a visual treat, with the beautiful mountain range forming a backdrop to this rich land of blue lakes and verdant hills, home to very friendly and welcoming people. We look forward to seeing you there. ICOB conventions always offer great opportunities for networking, making new friends and renewing old ones.
