This is swinging post-bop jazz in the top tier of the celebrated Blue Note catalogue. Rhythm, melody, drive – you have it here, and then some. Just listen and let your ears be the judge.

Interestingly, this recording was left unissued until it was discovered nearly two decades later by Michael Cuscuna who had been allowed a peep into the Blue Note vaults. What a great find! Highly recommended for the Jazz music connoisseur and would also be a great starter work for one who is new to Jazz. My kind of music.
